If you are planning to travel by expressway or highway on Rakshabandhan, then this news is useful for you. This festival can prove to be costly for you if you travel without knowing these rules. As soon as you leave home, your FASTag can be blacklisted at the first toll plaza. After this, you have to face problems. Because of this, if you want to travel conveniently and comfortably, then definitely know this rule of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

The Ministry of Road Transport is going to issue an annual pass for drivers passing through expressways and highways on 15 August. With a pass of Rs 3000, you can cross 200 trips, i.e., 200 tolls in the whole year. The National Highway Authority of India has completed preparations for this. Along with this, orders have been given to be strict about another rule.

Vehicle drivers make mistakes.

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways had received many complaints that many drivers do not put the FASTag on the glass of the vehicle. It is kept below, due to which the machine at the toll plaza often has trouble reading the FASTag. Due to the mistake or negligence of the drivers, it used to take more time at the toll, and many times there is a dispute with the toll workers. Keeping this in mind, the Ministry of Road Transport has made rules and given strict instructions.

These are the rules

All drivers have been instructed to paste the FASTag on the front mirror of the vehicle. So that the toll plaza machine can read it from a distance, and the vehicle can keep passing through the toll gate continuously without taking time.

Action will be taken now.

The Ministry of Road Transport has instructed the National Highway Management Company Limited to take action against those vehicles whose FASTag is not properly pasted on the vehicle, that is, it is kept below the dashboard. Although this order was given last year, the ministry has given instructions to be strict.

Double action will be taken on such vehicles.
According to NHAI, all the companies operating toll plazas have been given strict instructions to enforce the rules. FASTag of all such vehicles will be blacklisted. Along with this, a double charge will be levied on exiting the toll at that time. The special thing is that this charge will have to be paid in cash. That is, if you want to make digital payment then it will be difficult for you.
