| Vehicle owners in Delhi, take note! A new regulation by the Transport Department now requires vehicles to display chromium-based hologram stickers indicating the type of fuel they use.
What Are These Stickers?
- Purpose: These stickers are designed to identify a vehicle's fuel type during inspections, promoting better monitoring and compliance with environmental standards.
- Mandatory for All Vehicles: Applies to both new vehicles registered after April 1, 2019, and older vehicles registered before March 31, 2019.
- Placement: Stickers must be pasted on the vehicle's windscreen for easy visibility.
How to Get the Stickers?
- For New Vehicles: Stickers will be provided at the time of purchase.
- For Old Vehicles: Owners can contact their respective vehicle dealers to get the stickers.
- Online Booking: A convenient online option is available through the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) website or the Transport Department portal. Stickers and High-Security Registration Plates (HSRP) can also be booked for home delivery.
