New LTC Rule: The government has given a great gift to the central employees. Under the Leave Travel Concession (LTC), now they will get a chance to travel in many more luxury trains. Earlier, government employees had the option of mail, express and some premium trains, but now 230 more premium trains have been included in the choice of trains available to them.
Let us tell you that the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has received many suggestions from various offices and individuals regarding the inclusion of more premium trains in the LTC scheme, after which this decision has been taken.
PTI, citing an official order issued by the DoPT, said that the Center has allowed its employees to travel by Tejas, Vande Bharat, and Humsafar trains under the Leave Travel Concession (LTC).
