New Feature: Now you can chat without being a WhatsApp user! New 'Guest Chat' feature will be launched soon..

WhatsApp is now going to expand the scope of chatting. The company is working on a completely new and unique feature, with which you will now be able to message even those who neither have WhatsApp installed nor have an account.
According to the report of WaBetaInfo, this new feature is currently being tested on Android beta version 2.25.22.13 and it is believed that it can be rolled out to beta users in the coming weeks.
What is the 'Guest Chats' feature?
This new feature has been named "Guest Chats". Through this, WhatsApp users will be able to directly chat with any non-user by sending an invite link. The receiver will neither have to download the app nor create an account.
The person to whom the invite has been sent will be able to chat through a secure interface like WhatsApp Web by clicking on the link.
Full care of security
WhatsApp says that this chatting feature will also be equipped with end-to-end encryption. That is, no one other than the sender and receiver will be able to read the message. Apart from this, the entire experience of guest chat will be controlled under WhatsApp's internal system, which will keep this feature reliable and fast.
What things have to be kept in mind?
However, there will be some limitations with the 'Guest Chat' feature:
Such as guest users will not be able to share photos, videos, or GIFs.
Voice and video messaging will not be available.
The calling option will also not be available.
This feature will be limited to one-on-one chat only, that is, group chat will not be supported.
WhatsApp's big strategy
Through this feature, WhatsApp probably wants to connect those people to its platform who did not want to install the app till now. It will work as a low-friction entry point, so that even non-users can experience the interface of WhatsApp.
When will it be launched?
Although the company has not made any official announcement regarding its launch date, it is believed that this feature can be rolled out for beta users soon. After this, public users are also expected to get this facility.
