Neuralink: Elon Musk's Neuralink device did wonders! Monkey saw imaginary scenes using brain chip..

Elon Musk's Neuralink Corporation has made a big scientific claim. The company has successfully tested a brain implant device that can stimulate the visual parts of the brain and imagine a scene that is not present there. The name of this technology is 'Blindsight' and it can give new hope to the blind to see.
Neuralink engineer Joseph O'Doherty said that during the test, the monkey turned its eyes two-thirds of the time towards those objects, which scientists tried to show by confusing the brain. This experiment has been made public in a recent conference.
Approval for human testing may be received.
According to O'Doherty, this device is currently awaiting approval for human testing from US agencies. Musk says that its initial goal is to help blind people see, while the long-term goal is to provide superhuman vision like 'infrared'.
Neuralink is also being tested in humans.
So far five people are living with Neuralink implants. Of these, three were fitted with the device in 2024 and two in 2025. These users are using the device for about 60 hours every week. At the same time, experiments are also being conducted on monkeys in the direction of spinal cord stimulation so that in the future paralyzed people can be able to walk.
