In a post on X, Ashwini Vaishnav announced that the new Aadhaar application is currently in the beta testing phase and will soon be made available to the general public across the country which combines Face ID Authentication and Artificial Intelligence. The app aims to provide digital Aadhaar service to Indian citizens through mobile application. Giving users full control over their personal information, the Aadhaar app will eliminate the need to keep a physical Aadhaar card or photocopy with them.

How to download e-Aadhaar using mAadhaar app?
Go to Google Play Store or Apple App Store and search for mAadhaar.
Now download and install the official app.
After installing the mAadhaar app, open the app and enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or 28-digit EID number.
Enter the registered mobile number and click on Generate OTP.
Now enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and click on Verify.
After this click on Aadhaar Download.
