NEET Re-exam 2026 Special Train: Indian Railways has made special arrangements to facilitate candidates appearing for the NEET re-exam in 2026. In view of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) scheduled for June 21, 2026, the Railways have decided to run a special train for students traveling to Bhopal from Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, and surrounding areas. This initiative aims to ensure candidates reach their exam centers on time and to minimize travel-related inconveniences. According to railway officials, this special train is being operated to handle the anticipated surge in passenger traffic, providing relief to thousands of students.

Operation of Special Train for NEET Candidates
Indian Railways will operate the Indore-Bhopal Special Train (Train No. 09354) on June 20, 2026. Departing from Indore, the train will travel via several major stations in the state before reaching Bhopal. It will leave Indore station at 11:25 AM and arrive in Bhopal at 7:00 PM, following stops at Fatehabad, Badnagar, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Maksi, Shujalpur, Sehore, and Sant Hirdaram Nagar stations.

Train Route and Schedule
The special train will depart from Indore and stop at the following stations:

Fatehabad – 12:00 PM | Badnagar – 12:42 PM | Ratlam – 1:30 PM | Nagda – 2:23 PM | Ujjain – 3:25 PM | Maksi – 4:30 PM | Shujalpur – 5:21 PM | Sehore – 6:00 PM | Sant Hirdaram Nagar – 6:38 PM | Bhopal – 7:00 PM
This service will greatly benefit students traveling to Bhopal for the exam.

Special Arrangements for the Return Journey
The Railways have also arranged a special train for the return journey. Train No. 09353, the Bhopal-Ratlam Special, will depart from Bhopal at 7:40 PM on June 20, 2026. It will reach Ratlam at 12:55 AM the following day, passing through Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Sehore, Shujalpur, Maksi, Ujjain, and Nagda. This will facilitate the return journey for students and their guardians after the examination.

**17-Coach Configuration**
In anticipation of the increased passenger volume, the Railways have arranged for adequate coaches on the train. This special train will comprise a total of 17 coaches, including:

*   13 Sleeper Class coaches
*   2 General Class coaches
*   2 SLR/D coaches

**Railways Urges Public to Avail the Facility**
Senior DCM Saurabh Kataria stated that this special train is being operated to handle the additional rush of candidates during the NEET examination. He appealed to students and guardians to make the most of this service and to plan their travel to utilize this special facility provided by the Railways.

**Special Arrangements to Manage Crowds**
The Railways are running this special train to accommodate the expected surge in candidates appearing for the NEET exam and to ensure convenient travel for them. The Railways has urged examinees to take full advantage of this special train service.

Major cities with examination centers under the jurisdiction of the West Central Railway's Bhopal Division include Bhopal, Ashoknagar, Guna, Hoshangabad, and Vidisha. The highest number of candidates will take the exam in Bhopal (13,774). Additionally, a large number of candidates are expected in Guna (1,839), Vidisha (1,709), Hoshangabad (1,283), and Ashoknagar (865).

Furthermore, special crowd management arrangements have been put in place across the Bhopal Division in view of the NEET examination. In view of the large number of candidates traveling to appear for the examination, the Bhopal Division of West Central Railway has decided to implement comprehensive crowd management measures to ensure the convenience of passengers and examinees, as well as a safe and smooth journey.

Special crowd management arrangements will be in place at station premises, entry and exit gates, and platforms. Additional commercial, Railway Protection Force (RPF), and operational staff will be deployed. Public address systems and inquiry counters will remain active to guide passengers. Necessary barricading and guidance systems will be set up to manage queues and ensure the smooth movement of passengers. Passengers heading towards examination centers will be provided with necessary information and assistance. Officials and staff have been instructed to remain vigilant to handle any unexpected surges in crowds or special situations.
