When can you change the appointment?

According to UIDAI rules, an appointment can be rescheduled (changed) or cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. To do this, you must use the same mobile number or email ID used for the original booking. Making changes in time gives you the opportunity to select a new slot, date, or time.

How to reschedule the appointment:

Log in to the UIDAI appointment portal.
Open your booking details.
Select the 'Reschedule' option.
Choose a new slot from the available dates and times.
Your appointment will be updated once the new slot is confirmed.

What happens if you miss the appointment?

You cannot use the old slot once the scheduled date and time have passed.
In such a case, you will need to book a fresh appointment to avail of Aadhaar services. In such a scenario, it is essential to reschedule or cancel the appointment in advance.

The refund amount may be credited to your account within 7 to 21 days.
