State Health Committee Bihar has issued a notification for big recruitment under National Health Mission (NHM SHS). Through this recruitment, candidates will be appointed to 5006 posts of ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website shs.bihar.gov.in till 28 August 2025.

Who can apply?

To apply for the posts of ANM, candidates must have a two-year diploma in Auxiliary Nurse or Midwifery from a recognized institute in India. Along with this, the name of the applicant must be registered in Bihar Nurse Registration Counseling.

Talking about the age limit, the minimum age has been kept at 21 years. At the same time, the maximum age for general, EWS and OBC female candidates is 40 years. The maximum age for SC and ST female candidates has been fixed at 42 years. In this way, some relief has been given in the age limit for different categories.

After uploading the documents, pay the application fee.

After submitting the application form, take a print out of it.

To apply for ANM posts, candidates will also have to pay the application fee. General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500. At the same time, the fee for SC, ST, general women and Divyang candidates has been fixed at Rs 125. The application fee will be paid through online mode only.
