The Telangana State Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has issued a notification for recruitment to driver and labor positions in the state. A total of 1,743 positions will be filled through this recruitment drive, including 1,000 driver and 743 labor positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from October 8th, 2025, by visiting the board's official website, tgprb.in.

Candidates must have passed the 10th standard. Additionally, they must have passed the SSC or an equivalent examination recognized by the state government by July 1st, 2025. For the driver position, candidates must have a valid driving license for at least 18 months to drive a heavy passenger motor vehicle (HPMV), heavy goods vehicle (HGV), or transport vehicle. This license must be valid as of the notification date, i.e., September 17, 2025.

Age Limit

The minimum age for the driver position is 22 years, and the maximum age is 35 years. For the laborer position, the minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 30 years. Candidates from reserved categories will be exempted as per rules.

Application Fee

For the driver position, all other candidates will have to pay ₹600, and for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) local candidates in Telangana, ₹300. For the laborer position, the fee is ₹400 for all other candidates and ₹200 for SC/ST local candidates.

What is the salary?

Candidates selected for the driver position will receive a salary ranging from ₹20,960 to ₹60,080 per month. Candidates selected for the labor position will receive a salary ranging from ₹16,550 to ₹45,030 per month. Other allowances and benefits will also be provided.

Selection Process

The selection process for the driver position includes a physical measurement test, a driving test, document verification, and a medical test. Merit will be determined based on 10th-grade marks and license experience.
