The government has launched several schemes involving massive investment that directly benefit everyone from the general public to the industrial sector. Spanning areas from banking to manufacturing and investment, these schemes have played a pivotal role in transforming both the direction and the state of the nation.

1. Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana
Launched in 2014, the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana aimed to integrate every family into the banking system. It provided facilities such as zero-balance accounts, insurance, pension schemes, and Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT). This scheme brought millions of people into the banking fold for the first time and paved the way for government subsidies to be transferred directly into their accounts.

2. Make in India
Through the 'Make in India' initiative, the government set a goal to transform the country into a manufacturing hub. The initiative emphasized infrastructure, investment, and skill development. Major reforms were implemented to attract investment across 25 sectors and simplify business regulations, thereby boosting domestic production.

3. Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana
Launched in 2015, the Mudra Yojana (PMMY) provides collateral-free loans of up to several lakh rupees to small business owners. To date, millions of loans have been sanctioned, with the total disbursed amount reaching lakhs of crores of rupees. This scheme has given a significant boost to startups and small-scale entrepreneurs.

4. Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme
The government introduced the PLI (Production Linked Incentive) scheme to enhance the country's manufacturing capacity, backed by an incentive package worth approximately ₹1.97 lakh crore. The scheme has now expanded to cover 14 sectors, benefiting hundreds of companies. Production has surged rapidly in sectors such as mobile manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and textiles.

5. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
Under the PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farming families receive an annual sum of ₹6,000 directly from the government via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in three equal installments. If you are a farmer, you can apply through the PM-KISAN portal or by visiting your nearest Agriculture Department office or Common Service Center (CSC).

6. Ujjwala Yojana
Under the Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), launched in 2016, free LPG connections were provided to women from poor households. To date, over 10 crore connections have been issued. Thousands of crores of rupees are spent annually on subsidies under this scheme, providing rural families with access to clean fuel and a better quality of life.

The massive investment made in these schemes was not limited to mere statistics; its impact has been visible at the grassroots level. Banking access expanded, industry gained momentum, India strengthened its technological capabilities, and the poor received direct benefits.
