The phone is not called 'smart' for nothing, because of mobile and the internet, many of our tasks are completed sitting at home. But many people seem to be troubled by the fact that we do not even use the internet much and yet we do not understand where the daily 1.5GB data ends. If your daily 1.5GB data also ends before the day is over, then there is no need to worry. Today we are going to tell you 3 such settings, if you do them, then your daily 1.5GB data can last you the whole day.

Which app is consuming more data?
Whenever we need an app, we download and install it, but later when it is not needed, we forget to uninstall the app from the phone. Many times the applications installed in our phones are consuming data in the background and we are not even aware of this and before the day is over, our daily 1.5GB data ends. Check which app is consuming more data. To find this out, go to the phone settings and then click on SIM and network settings.

After the SIM and network settings open, click on the name of the SIM. For example, if you have two SIMs in your phone, you will see which SIM is in which slot. If your mobile data is running from the first SIM, then click on the name of the first SIM. After this, in the next step, you will see the App Data Usage option. As soon as you click on this option, you will know which app is consuming the most data. If you do not need the app that is consuming more data, then uninstall the app.

WhatsApp can also save data.
WhatsApp has provided many useful features in the app to save your precious mobile data, such as Use Less Data For Calls and Media Auto Download. You will find both these options in the Storage and Data option of WhatsApp settings. By changing both these settings, you can save your precious daily 1.5 GB of data.

Use of data saver mode
Just like battery saver mode is available in the phone, similarly data saver mode is also provided in selected smartphones to save your precious mobile data. Using this setting, the limit of daily data consumption can be set.

Turn off auto-update
Google Play Store or Apple App Store can also be the reason for your data getting exhausted quickly. Are you surprised how? If the feature of auto-update apps is on in the settings of Play Store and App Store, then the apps will keep getting updated on mobile data, you should go to the settings of Google Play Store and Apple App Store and set the auto-update feature to the Wi-Fi option.

Change the video quality.
If you watch movies or web series on YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, or any other OTT app, then set the video streaming quality to low. High quality streaming increases data consumption, whereas if the quality is set slightly lower then data can be saved.
