HD will be on by default for calls made via Wi-Fi on Facebook Messenger, while it has to be turned on manually for mobile data calls. Both features like background noise suppression and voice isolation can be turned on through call settings. If your friends do not pick up the phone, you can also drop audio or video messages. In this, you just have to tap on record messages for audio and video calls.

Messenger is also getting AI background in video calls soon, which will make your calls a little better. To create a background, you have to tap on the effects icon in the sidebar of your next video call. If you are an Apple user, then there is a special feature for you, in which on iOS you can now ask Siri to help you make Messenger calls and send messages.
