Where did this facility originate?

The digital local pass facility was first introduced in July 2023 at the Mundka-Bakkarwala toll plaza on Delhi's Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II). Following its successful implementation there, the facility has now been expanded to 121 toll plazas nationwide.
