Bihar Mahila Rojgar Yojana: The Bihar government has launched a new scheme to empower women economically. Under the Chief Minister's Women's Employment Scheme, an initial ₹10,000 will be transferred to women's bank accounts. Subsequently, assistance of up to ₹2 lakh will be provided in two phases. On Friday, September 26th, PM Narendra Modi released the first installment of this scheme. Approximately 7.5 million women have received the funds. If you filled out the scheme form but haven't received the money yet, we'll tell you how and where you can file a complaint.

Check the Scheme's Status Online

If you're from Bihar and haven't received the first installment of the Women's Employment Scheme (Women Employment Scheme) in your account, you can file a complaint. First, check the status of the scheme. You can visit the Bihar government's e-Kalyan portal at https://ekalyan.bih.nic.in to see your registration status. Entering your registration number will reveal whether the funds have been received or are pending. Alternatively, you can check your bank account details through your passbook entry. If the funds haven't been credited to your account, you can file a complaint.

How to File a Complaint

The funds for the scheme are released by the Block Women Development Officer (CDPO/LSC) or the District Social Welfare Office. In this case, you can file your complaint here. You can also register your complaint by calling the Bihar Women Welfare/Social Welfare Department's number 1800-345-6262 or the e-Kalyan helpline number 0612-2545002, 2546529. You can also visit Bihar's Public Grievance Redressal Portal (janshikayat.bihar.gov.in) to register your complaint online.

In simple terms, if Rs 10,000 has not been credited to your account, first check the status on the E-Kalyan portal, then visit the bank or block office, and if necessary, file your complaint online by calling the given helpline number or portal.
