Millions of women have already benefited from this scheme, and the monthly assistance is helping them manage their household budgets. Now, another major initiative is being prepared for the Ladli Behna beneficiaries. The government is moving towards providing them with a new source of income.

According to the latest information, up to Rs 1 lakh may be sent to the accounts of the Ladli Behna beneficiaries in the state. This amount will be given for cow rearing, enabling women to increase their earnings by engaging in milk production. This scheme is expected to empower women and strengthen the state's economy. What Women Need to Do

The Madhya Pradesh government is preparing to connect approximately 1.25 crore Ladli Behna beneficiaries in the state with cow rearing. Under this proposed scheme, eligible women will be given up to Rs 1 lakh to buy cows. This will provide women with a source of regular monthly income. The government also aims to increase milk production in the state.

Currently, Madhya Pradesh produces approximately 591 lakh liters of milk daily, and the government is targeting an increase of about 20 percent. The goal is to achieve this target by connecting Ladli Behna beneficiaries with milk production. This will increase women's income on one hand, and on the other hand, it will directly benefit the rural economy and give a boost to the animal husbandry sector.

How to Get the Rs 1 Lakh Benefit?

The Animal Husbandry Department is working on finalizing the Ladli Behna Cow Rearing Scheme. Under this scheme, Ladli Behna beneficiaries will receive direct financial assistance for cow rearing. Eligible women may receive up to Rs 1 lakh to buy cows, enabling them to start their own dairy business. The subsidy will be determined based on the category.

Women from the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes are proposed to receive a subsidy of approximately 33 percent. Women from the General and Other Backward Classes categories may receive a subsidy of around 25 percent. The remaining amount will be provided through banks with a government guarantee, which the women can repay in easy monthly installments.
