Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway: Those traveling from Lucknow to Kanpur are well aware of the difficulties they currently have to endure. The distance between these two major cities of Uttar Pradesh is so short that people commuting daily for work frequently travel back and forth between them. However, covering this short distance often takes them as much time—if not more—than they actually spend working at their offices. Traffic congestion and poor road conditions have made their commute a grueling ordeal; however, this distance will now be traversable in just 45 minutes. The expressway connecting Lucknow and Kanpur is now complete, and its toll rates have also been finalized.

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has not yet officially released the toll rates; however, the tendering process is nearly complete, and the pricing details have already surfaced. As soon as the expressway opens for traffic, the applicable toll rates will be publicly displayed. Based on the rates currently available, it appears that while the expressway will undoubtedly make travel between Kanpur and Lucknow faster and more convenient, the journey is certainly going to become more expensive. It is estimated that traveling between the two cities via this expressway will take a mere 40 to 45 minutes. The Authority has not yet issued any statement regarding whether motorcycles will be permitted to use the expressway.

**How Much Will a One-Way Toll Cost?**
