Why do gas cylinder prices vary?
LPG cylinder prices depend on several factors. Fluctuations in international gas prices and changes in the value of the rupee against the US dollar impact cylinder rates. Additionally, variations in state-level taxes and costs associated with gas supply can lead to price differences across cities. Oil companies periodically review the prices of domestic and commercial gas cylinders. Typically, any price adjustments are announced on the first day of each month; however, it is not guaranteed that prices will change every month.
Check the rates before booking: While domestic cylinder prices are currently stable, they may vary depending on the city. Therefore, before booking LPG, confirm the applicable price with your local distributor or through an official gas booking channel.
