LPG Rate Today (April 27): Following the outbreak of conflict in Iran and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the global supply of crude oil and gas has experienced a decline. However, Iran subsequently granted permission to five of its friendly nations—including India, Russia, and China—to utilize this critical waterway for transit. Consequently, gas supplies to India have improved. As a result, the positive impact of this development is now becoming visible in the availability of LPG as well.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has made biometric Aadhaar authentication (e-KYC) mandatory for all domestic LPG consumers. Today, the price of a 14.2-kilogram domestic gas cylinder in Delhi is ₹913. Domestic gas prices have remained unchanged since last month.
