The increased price has come into effect from November 1, 2024. However, the biggest relief for the public is that there has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder.
Now you will get it for Rs 1802
According to the information given on the website of IOCL, from November 1, a 19 kg cylinder will now be available in Delhi for Rs 1802 instead of Rs 1740. At the same time, the cylinder in Kolkata has increased from Rs 1850.50 to Rs 1911.50. In Mumbai, the 19 kg LPG cylinder has increased from Rs 1692.50 to Rs 1754, while in Chennai it has increased from Rs 1903 to Rs 1964.
The price of 19 kg cylinder has increased for the fourth consecutive month
Let us tell you that the price of 19 kg gas cylinder has been increased for the fourth consecutive month. Oil marketing companies make changes after reviewing the prices of LPG on the first of every month. Earlier, on August 1, the price of 19 kg cylinder was increased by Rs 6.50. After that, on September 1, its price was also increased by Rs 39. Later on the first of October, the price of the cylinder was increased by Rs 48.5. Now on November 1, it has been increased by Rs 62.
Rate of 14.2 kg cylinder in 4 major cities
Let us tell you that at present there has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg cylinder. The rate of non-subsidized gas cylinder in Delhi is Rs 803. Whereas, in Kolkata it is Rs 829, in Mumbai it is Rs 802.50 and in Chennai it is Rs 818.50. Let us tell you that the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana are given a subsidy of Rs 300 per year on this gas cylinder.
