LPG Prices, 7 November 2026: During the festive season, even a minor change in LPG cylinder prices can significantly impact people's budgets. Such price adjustments affect everyone, from ordinary citizens to business owners. State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) have released new rates for gas cylinders. Currently, there has been no change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders; however, the prices of commercial gas cylinders were increased at the beginning of November. Before booking your gas cylinder for Diwali, check the current prices for both domestic and commercial LPG cylinders in major cities across the country, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Patna.

Why haven't the prices changed?

The prices of domestic LPG cylinders are reviewed at the beginning of every month. The prices depend on international market rates for gas and crude oil, the value of the rupee against the US dollar, and other associated costs. It is not mandatory for the price of domestic gas cylinders to change every month. Currently, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder remains unchanged at ₹942, whereas the price of a commercial gas cylinder has been adjusted.

Increase in Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices

On Sunday, November 1, oil companies raised the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by ₹10. Consequently, the price of this cylinder—commonly used in hotels and restaurants—has risen to ₹2,820. Meanwhile, there have been no changes to the prices of domestic cooking gas cylinders, petrol, or diesel. This marks the third consecutive increase in the price of commercial cylinders; the price was previously raised by ₹62.50 on October 1, following an earlier increase of ₹9.50 in September. These persistent price hikes could lead to higher operating costs for hotels and restaurants.

Check Rates Before Booking: While the prices for domestic cylinders are currently stable, they may vary by city. Therefore, it is advisable to verify the applicable rate with your local distributor or through an official gas-booking channel before placing an order.
