LPG Price 09 October 2026: Relief for the common man or a blow from inflation? Check today's gas cylinder prices..
LPG Prices – October 9, 2026: Amidst rising inflation, October 9 brings some relief for gas consumers. There have been no changes today to the prices of domestic LPG cylinders, CNG, or PNG. This means consumers will not face new price hikes for anything from household cooking fuel to CNG-powered vehicles. However, the hike in commercial LPG cylinder prices earlier this month has raised concerns among hoteliers, restaurateurs, and small business owners.
If you wish to check the latest gas prices, you can view the rates for several major cities—including Delhi, Noida, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Kolkata—right here.
Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Hiked for the Second Consecutive Month
While domestic gas prices remain stable, there is no such relief regarding commercial LPG cylinders. Prices for commercial cylinders were raised by ₹62.50 at the beginning of October. Prior to this, there had been an increase of approximately ₹9.50 in September.
It is worth noting, however, that the price of commercial cylinders had seen a significant reduction of ₹192 in August. These consecutive monthly hikes could impact business owners who rely heavily on gas for operations in hotels, *dhabas*, and restaurants.
