LPG Price 02 October 2026: New gas cylinder rates released for October 2; check prices for all cities, including Delhi and Mumbai..

LPG Price 02 October 2026: A new update regarding LPG cylinders has emerged at the start of October. Oil companies have revised gas prices at the beginning of the month, though the impact varies across consumer categories. The price of the 19 kg commercial cylinder has been hiked, while the rate for the 14.2 kg domestic cylinder remains unchanged.

**Increased Costs for Hotels and Restaurants**

The most significant development this month concerns the price of commercial LPG cylinders. In Delhi, the 19 kg cylinder now costs ₹2,810. In September, the same cylinder was available for ₹2,747.50, marking an increase of ₹62.50.

Since commercial cylinders are primarily used in hotels, restaurants, and other business establishments, this price hike could directly impact the gas costs for these businesses.

**Domestic Gas Prices Remain Unchanged**

The start of October has brought relief to ordinary households. There has been no change in the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder; it remains priced at ₹942 in Delhi.

Domestic cylinders are available for ₹941.50 in Mumbai, ₹968 in Kolkata, and ₹957.50 in Chennai.

**Commercial Gas Rates in Major Cities**

Commercial cylinder prices vary by city. The 19 kg cylinder costs ₹2,763.50 in Mumbai and ₹2,946.50 in Kolkata. In Chennai, the price has reached ₹2,978.50.
