LPG Cylinder Rates Today (April 14): LPG cylinder prices in the country remain stable today as well. Oil marketing companies—including Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and HPCL—did not alter LPG prices today, Tuesday. Meanwhile, the government has stated that the delivery of domestic LPG cylinders within the country continues to proceed normally. On April 10 alone, over 5.15 million domestic LPG cylinders were delivered nationwide in a single day.
Government-led operations to curb the hoarding and black marketing of LPG are continuing nationwide. On April 10 itself, raids were conducted at over 3,400 locations across the country. State-run Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have also intensified their surprise inspections. As a result, fines have been imposed on 214 LPG dealerships, and 55 dealerships have been suspended.
How much have gas cylinder prices increased so far?
The last time domestic cylinder prices in the country were hiked was in March 2026. During that instance, prices were increased by ₹60. However, under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), the government is directly transferring a subsidy of ₹300 per 14.2 kg cylinder to the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries.
