Increase in the price of commercial LPG cylinders:
The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has increased by 8 to 9 rupees in different cities.
The price has increased by Rs 6.50 in Delhi, which has now become Rs 1652.50. Last month there was a reduction of Rs 19.
There has been an increase of Rs 8.50 in Kolkata, which has made the new price Rs 1764.50.
Its price in Mumbai is now Rs 1605. The price of a commercial LPG cylinder in Chennai is now Rs 1817.
Notably, the price of commercial LPG cylinders had been declining for four consecutive months: April, May, June, and July saw a reduction of Rs 19 each. Before this, prices had increased for three months.
Domestic gas cylinder prices remained unchanged:
In a positive development for domestic consumers, there has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinders. The last adjustment took place on March 9, when prices were reduced by Rs 200.
The current prices of domestic cylinders are as follows:
Delhi: Rs 803
Kolkata: Rs 829
Mumbai: Rs 802.50
Chennai: Rs 818.50
