LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: LIC is giving 7000 rupees every month to women through this scheme..

Nowadays no woman wants to sit at home. She wants to do some work so that she can become self-reliant. The government also runs many such schemes, which employ women. Through LIC's Bima Sakhi Yojana, you can earn Rs 7000 every month by becoming an LIC agent.

What is Bima Sakhi Yojana?

PM Narendra Modi launched the LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana on 9 December 2024 in Panipat, Haryana. This scheme has been specially designed keeping in mind rural women so that they can be empowered financially. Under this scheme, women will get an opportunity to work as insurance agents with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). In this, women from 18 to 70 years of age who become Bima Sakhi will get 5 to 7 thousand rupees every month.

Who can apply and who cannot?

Any 10th-pass woman can apply for this scheme. The age limit is between 18 years to 70 years. If a person is already a LIC agent or employee, then his relative (husband/wife, children, parents, siblings, etc.) cannot apply under this scheme. A retired employee of LIC or any former agent or current agent also cannot apply under this scheme.

Which documents are required?

To apply for the Bima Sakhi scheme, an Aadhar card, age proof, address proof and self-attested copy of the 10th pass certificate will have to be attached.

How much help will be given?

Under this scheme, women will be given training to become agents for 3 years. During the training, they will also be given some stipend i.e. salary. Under the scheme, 7 thousand rupees will be given every month in the first year. 6 thousand rupees will be given every month in the second year. 5 thousand rupees will be given every month in the third year. In this way, the government will give Rs 2 lakh to eligible women in 3 years.

How will the commission be calculated?

During the training, women will get a commission in addition to salary. This commission will be given on purchasing the LIC policy. During the training, women can get some target of purchasing policy, women who complete the target will get bonus in addition to salary and commission.
