Indian Railway Ticket: Now booking train tickets has become even easier. IRCTC, NPCI, and CoRover have launched Conversational Voice Payments Service for UPI at Global Fintech Fest 2024. With the help of this new feature integrated with the payment gateway, Indian Railways customers can pay for train tickets on IRCTC by using their voice or by typing their UPI ID or mobile number on the call. All this work will be done through AI Virtual Assistant AskDISHA for Indian Railways. Customers will not only be able to book tickets but will also be able to make payments by speaking.
How does the voice ticket option work
When a ticket is booked by calling from a mobile number, the voice payment system automatically gives the option to make payment from the UPI registered with that number. After receiving the UPI ID, it raises a request to make a payment through the user's default UPI app. To ensure an easy and flexible payment experience, the feature also allows users to update their mobile number or UPI ID within the transaction time frame.
Payment will be very easy
The companies say that this technology is "the first conversational voice payment system to enable merchants to make payments using UPI." This system not only removes language barriers but also makes transactions faster and easier than before.
Ticket will be booked with a voice
In addition, this talking voice payment option equipped with UPI and BharatGPT has also been attached with AskDISHA, the AI virtual assistant for IRCTC and Indian Railways. Now users can book tickets and make payments using just their voice, making the whole process easier, faster, and more convenient.
