Under the scheme, women are given a loan of up to Rs 5 lakh to set up their businesses. And the most special thing about this loan is that it is given without any interest. That is, no interest has to be paid on it.

The government has set some eligibility criteria to avail the benefits of this scheme. The benefits of this scheme are available only to women between 18 and 50 years of age. That too to those women who do not have any member in their family who holds a government job.

The annual family income of the women taking benefit in this scheme should be less than Rs 3 lakh and it is also necessary for women to join a self-help group. Only then will they be able to get benefits under this scheme?

Let us tell you that to apply for the scheme, women will first have to join a self-help group, after which women will have to go to the office of their regional self-help group and submit their business plan and necessary documents.

If we talk about these necessary documents, then documents like Aadhar card, PAN card, income proof, bank passbook, mobile number, passport size photo are included. After this entire process, women are given a loan for business setup.
