Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini made a historic announcement after the cabinet meeting and announced the implementation of "Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana". Under this scheme, eligible women of the state will be given direct financial assistance of Rs 2100 every month by the government. This scheme will be launched in the entire state on the auspicious occasion of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay's birth anniversary on September 25, 2025.

Who will get the benefit of this scheme? (Eligibility conditions)

Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has clarified all the things regarding the eligibility of the scheme in the press conference, so that there is no confusion:

Income limit (for the first phase)

In the first phase, this benefit will be given to women of those families whose annual family income is less than Rs 1 lakh. The CM has said that in the next phase, other families will also be included in it.

Age limit

Women who are 23 years or above on September 5, 2025, will be eligible for this scheme.

Marital status

Both married and unmarried women will get the benefit of the scheme.

Residence condition

The woman must be a resident of Haryana for the last 15 years.

How many women in a family will get the benefit?

This is one of the most special features of this scheme. CM Saini clarified that there is no limit on the number of eligible women in a family. If there are 3 sisters or mother-daughter in the same family and they all meet the eligibility conditions, then all three will get a benefit of Rs 2100 per month separately.

Who will not get the benefit of this scheme?

The government has also clarified that if a woman is already getting monthly financial assistance of more than Rs 2100 under any other government scheme, then she will not get the benefit of the 'Lado Laxmi' scheme.

But, a big relief

The Chief Minister also announced that apart from stage-3 and stage-4 cancer patients, women suffering from 54 rare diseases, who are getting any pension, will also be given additional benefits of the 'Lado Laxmi' scheme.

How will the scheme be implemented?

Beneficiaries in the first phase: The Chief Minister said that in the first phase, 19 to 20 lakh women of the state are expected to get the benefit of this scheme. The gazette notification of the scheme will be issued within the next 7 days. Also, a mobile app will be launched to make the application process easier.
