Lado Lakshmi Yojana: Who Gets ₹2,100, How to Apply, and When Payments Begin

The Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana (DDLLY) was officially launched in Haryana today, September 25, 2025, by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. With this scheme, eligible women in the state will receive ₹2,100 every month directly in their bank accounts through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). The launch also included the rollout of a dedicated mobile application that allows women to check their eligibility, register, and apply without needing to visit any office.
According to the government, the first installment will be credited starting November 1, 2025. The program is initially expected to benefit around 20–21 lakh women, with a budget allocation of ₹5,000 crore.
Who is Eligible for the Scheme?
Eligibility criteria have been clearly outlined by the state government for the first phase of the scheme:

Why This Scheme Matters
The Lado Lakshmi Yojana represents a significant step in women’s empowerment in Haryana. By providing ₹2,100 every month, the scheme ensures that women, especially from low-income households, have financial independence and support for their livelihood.
The government also aims to use this scheme as a foundation for future welfare programs, gradually expanding the income eligibility to include more women.
As Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini highlighted during the launch, the mobile app ensures transparency, accessibility, and ease of use, eliminating the need for middlemen or physical office visits.
