The 41st installment of the 'Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana' has been released in Madhya Pradesh. During an event in Umaria district, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav disbursed the 41st installment of the scheme directly into the bank accounts of 1.25 crore eligible women via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). However, a significant number of women have yet to be enrolled in the scheme. There is now some welcome news for these women, offering renewed hope to those who, for various reasons, had previously missed out. The state government has indicated that the scheme's portal may soon be reopened to allow for the registration of eligible women who were left out.

In a conversation with the media, Minister of State for Health, Narendra Shivaji Patel, indicated that, following instructions from Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the government is considering extending the benefits of the 'Ladli Behna Yojana' to women who have not yet been able to register.

What instructions did the CM give?
Narendra Shivaji Patel, Minister of State for Health in the Madhya Pradesh government, stated that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has directed officials to assess how many eligible women are currently excluded from the scheme's benefits. An official decision regarding the reopening of the portal will be made following this internal report and review.

While preparations are underway to add new beneficiaries, a specific timeline for registration has not yet been announced. According to Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel, the number of women who missed out on the scheme will be assessed first; only then will the registration process and the date for reopening the portal be clarified.

Currently, approximately 1.25 crore eligible women in Madhya Pradesh are receiving a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500 under this scheme.
