Ladli Behna Yojana: Lakhs of women of Madhya Pradesh are going to get a gift before Raksha Bandhan. Under the Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana, CM Mohan Yadav is going to transfer a total amount of more than Rs 1,859 crore to the accounts of 1 crore 26 lakh 89 thousand 823 women from Narsinghgarh in Rajgarh district on August 7. This time the government is giving an additional Rs 250 to every sister as a Rakshabandhan omen along with the regular installment of Rs 1250, which has brought more smiles on the faces of women. That is, a total amount of Rs 1500 will be transferred directly to the account of women.

Ladli Behna Yojana started in the year 2023. Its objective is to empower women financially, improve their health and nutrition, besides increasing their participation in family decisions. Under the scheme, eligible women are given financial assistance of Rs 1250 every month which goes directly to their account. As of July 2025, Rs 6198.88 crore has been spent on this scheme in the financial year 2025-26.
