Ladli Behna Yojana: CM Mohan Yadav to Release 28th Installment Today from Jhabua, Women to Get ₹1,250

Bhopal/Jhabua, September 12, 2025: The much-awaited September installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana is here. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer the 28th installment of the scheme today, directly into the bank accounts of over 1.26 crore women beneficiaries across Madhya Pradesh. This month’s installment will amount to ₹1,250 per beneficiary, as per the official program.
CM to Disburse Funds from Jhabua
The grand disbursement program is being organized in Jhabua district, where CM Mohan Yadav will officially press the button to transfer the funds. Preparations in Jhabua are already in full swing, with the construction of a helipad and program stage underway. According to district officials, the CM will personally attend the event, making this installment rollout a significant occasion.
Though earlier reports suggested that the transfer might happen on September 13, the official confirmation from the Jhabua Collector’s Office through a Facebook post made it clear that the installment would be released on September 12 itself.
How Much Will Women Receive This Month?
In August 2025, beneficiaries received a special bonus of ₹250 as a Raksha Bandhan gift, in addition to the regular ₹1,250 installment—bringing the total credited amount to ₹1,500. However, this month’s 28th installment will return to the standard amount of ₹1,250 per beneficiary.
The government spends nearly ₹1,550 crore every month to transfer these funds to the beneficiaries’ accounts, ensuring direct financial support to millions of women across the state.
When Will ₹1,500 Become the Standard Amount?
One of the most asked questions by beneficiaries is: When will the monthly installment increase from ₹1,250 to ₹1,500?
CM Mohan Yadav has already addressed this. According to his earlier announcement, women will start receiving ₹1,500 per month from Bhai Dooj onwards. This year, Bhai Dooj falls on October 23, 2025, which means that the 29th installment—expected next month—may officially mark the beginning of the revised payment structure.
Notably, the 27th installment was disbursed on August 7, 2025, just before Raksha Bandhan, when CM Yadav sent ₹1,250 plus the festive gift of ₹250 to all beneficiaries.
How to Check If Your Name Is on the List
Beneficiaries who want to confirm whether they will receive today’s installment can check their details online. By visiting the official Ladli Behna Yojana portal, women can click on “Application and Payment Status” and enter either their registration number or Samagra ID along with OTP verification. This will immediately show whether the ₹1,250 installment has been credited to their account.
A Transformative Welfare Scheme
The Ladli Behna Yojana, launched by the Madhya Pradesh government, has become one of the largest women-centric welfare schemes in India. Designed to provide financial independence, social security, and empowerment, the scheme has helped millions of women manage household expenses, support children’s education, and strengthen their role in family decision-making.
By gradually increasing the installment amount from ₹1,250 to ₹1,500, the government aims to expand the scheme’s impact. The program has also become a crucial political and social initiative, with the Chief Minister frequently highlighting its importance in building a self-reliant Madhya Pradesh.
What to Expect Next
With today’s installment, women across the state can expect the money to reflect in their accounts by evening. The transition to the ₹1,500 installment from October is being eagerly awaited, as it would mean an additional boost to household incomes.
As of now, CM Yadav’s Jhabua event is not just about releasing funds—it is also a symbolic reaffirmation of the government’s continued commitment to women’s welfare.
