Ladli Behna Yojana: The central and state governments periodically launch various schemes to empower women financially. One such popular initiative in Madhya Pradesh is the Ladli Behna Yojana, which provides monthly financial assistance to women. Now, further strengthening this scheme, the government has also given women the opportunity to earn an additional ₹5,000.
How much benefit has been received so far?
The Madhya Pradesh government launched this scheme in June 2023. Since then, crores of women have received direct financial benefits. On November 12, 2025, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred ₹1,500 as the 30th installment to the accounts of over 1.26 crore Ladli Behens (Ladli Behens) in Seoni. So far (as of October 2025), more than ₹44,917 crore has been transferred to women's bank accounts. Between January 2024 and October 2025 alone, the government transferred ₹34,921 crore through a single click.
Working women will now receive an additional ₹5,000
If a woman works in a factory, industry, or business, and the industrialist pays her ₹8,000, the government will now provide an additional ₹5,000. This will increase her total income to ₹13,000 per month. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav says this will encourage women to take up employment and enable them to earn more.

How will women receive the ₹5,000?
