Ladli Behna Yojana 40th Installment: The Dr. Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh is implementing the Ladli Behna Yojana to financially empower the women of the state. Under this scheme, ₹1,500 is transferred to the bank accounts of eligible women every month. Prior to Raksha Bandhan, on August 19, the government transferred ₹1,500 as the 39th installment and an additional ₹250 as a gift to the women's accounts.

Ladli Behna Yojana 40th Installment: Women in Madhya Pradesh are now awaiting the 40th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana. It is worth noting that the state government releases the scheme's installment between the 10th and 15th of every month. It is expected that the government will disburse the 40th installment before September 15 this time as well.

Benefits of the Scheme

Each eligible woman receives ₹1,500 per month directly into her Aadhaar-linked, DBT-enabled bank account.
Women under the age of 60 from a family are eligible for the benefits of this scheme.

What is the eligibility?

Must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
Must be married; this includes widows, divorcees, and abandoned women.
Must have completed 21 years of age and be under 60 years of age as of January 1st of the application year.

Which women will not receive the benefits of the scheme?

• Those whose self-declared annual income (combined with their family's income) exceeds ₹2.5 lakh.
• Those whose self or any family member is an income taxpayer.
• Those whose self or any family member is employed as a regular, permanent, or contractual employee in a Government of India or State Government department, undertaking, board, or local body, or is receiving a pension after retirement.
• Those who are themselves receiving a monthly amount of ₹1,250 or more under any scheme of the Government of India or the State Government.
• Those whose family member (or the individual themselves) is a current or former Member of Parliament (MP) or Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).
• Those whose family member (or the individual themselves) is a Chairperson, Director, or Member of a board, corporation, commission, or undertaking selected or nominated by the Government of India or the State Government.
• Those whose family member (or the individual themselves) is an elected public representative in local bodies (excluding *Panch* and *Up-Sarpanch*).
• Those whose family members (or the individual themselves) collectively own more than 5 acres of agricultural land.
• Those whose family members (or the individual themselves) own a registered four-wheeler (excluding tractors).
