'Ladli Behna' beneficiaries will receive ₹1,500 in their accounts on this day; here is how to check your name on the list..
The wait for the September installment is about to end for the more than 1.25 crore beneficiaries of Madhya Pradesh's 'Ladli Behna Yojana'. According to sources and officials within the state government, the scheme's 40th installment will be transferred directly to the beneficiaries' bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) by September 15, 2026. Once again, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will personally transfer the sum of ₹1,500 to the accounts of every 'Ladli Behna' (beloved sister) under the scheme.
**Date to be finalized upon Chief Minister's return from abroad**
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is scheduled to return to Bhopal from his Dubai visit on September 9. Sources indicate that a date for a special state-level event will be set following his return; at this event, the Chief Minister will digitally transfer crores of rupees into the accounts of over 1.25 crore women simultaneously.
**Beneficiaries received ₹1,750 last month**
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan in August, the Mohan government released ₹1,750 to the women as a special gift. However, starting in September, the regular monthly installment of ₹1,500 will be disbursed. The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has approved a proposal to continue the Ladli Behna Yojana uninterrupted for the next five years. The government will allocate a massive budget of ₹1,14,365 crore for this initiative.
**How to check your name on the beneficiary list**
As the time for the installment approaches, women often worry about whether their names might have been removed from the list.
