Kisan Helpline: Farmers face a myriad of challenges ranging from the procurement of agricultural inputs to the sale of their produce. Keeping these issues in mind, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, has launched the "Kisan Helpline" (Farmers' Helpline). Through this helpline, farmers will be able to easily find solutions to issues related to their farming practices, produce, procurement, and sales, as well as other essential concerns. This initiative has been launched with the objective of providing direct assistance and accurate information to farmers.

Specifically, on April 30, during the 'Krishi Karmayogi' (Agricultural Worker) Orientation Training and Workshop held at Ravindra Bhawan in Bhopal, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Kisan Helpline, accessible at the number 155253. On this occasion, he also launched the 'Kisan Kalyan Dashboard' (Farmers' Welfare Dashboard), a mega-campaign aimed at increasing membership in PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies), and a joint action plan involving 16 government departments.

CM Kisan Helpline 155253
The Chief Minister inaugurated the toll-free CM Kisan Helpline (155253) for farmers and personally placed a call to test its operational efficiency. This helpline will provide prompt solutions to every issue faced by farmers—including queries related to crops, seeds, fertilizers, market access, weather updates, insurance, and various government schemes. The CM stated, "The objective of this helpline is to convey the government's voice to the 'Annadata' (the food-provider/farmer) and, conversely, to convey the farmer's grievances to the government."

Real-Time Information via the Kisan Kalyan Dashboard
During the event, the CM Kisan Kalyan Dashboard was also unveiled; this platform will make information regarding the progress of schemes, the number of beneficiaries, payment statuses, and field-level data available with just a single click. The Chief Minister hailed this initiative as a significant step toward fostering transparency and accountability.

Government Turns the Impossible into Reality Through Commitment
Driven by sheer commitment, the state government has accomplished several tasks that were previously deemed impossible. Citing the efforts undertaken in the animal husbandry sector in collaboration with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), he noted that the state is currently witnessing a "Milk Revolution," wherein farmers are now receiving an additional price of up to ₹7–8 per liter for their milk.

How the Kisan Helpline Works
Farmers can directly speak with a call center operator by dialing 155253 from their mobile phones. This helpline center will operate seven days a week, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If the operator does not have an immediate answer, the issue will be recorded, and the farmer will be informed once a response has been obtained from officials of the concerned department or agricultural scientists.
