To avail the ₹1 lakh financial aid from the Rajasthan government, devotees must meet the following criteria:

• The applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan.

• The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra must be completed through the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

• A completion certificate issued by the MEA is mandatory.

• This benefit is available only once in a lifetime per individual.

How to Apply for Financial Assistance

Pilgrims returning from the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra can apply for the grant within two months of completing the journey. The application must be submitted in person at either the office of the Assistant Commissioner, Devasthan Department, or the Sub-Divisional Officer’s (SDO) office.

Alternatively, eligible applicants can also apply online through the official Rajasthan Devasthan Department portal. For offline submissions, the required form can be downloaded from the department’s website, filled, and submitted along with all supporting documents.

In case of overwhelming applications, the department will use a computerized lottery system to shortlist recipients.

Applicants must submit the following documents for verification:

• Valid passport

• Visa and boarding passes used for travel

• Yatra Completion Certificate from the MEA

• Proof of residence in Rajasthan

• Bank account details

• A passport-sized photograph

Once the application is reviewed and verified, the amount will be approved within 15 days and disbursed via cheque or demand draft, or directly transferred to the applicant’s bank account.
