Actually, on the eve of Independence Day i.e. 14 August, a special train will be run from Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi, which will take you on a tour of tourist points related to the freedom struggle. According to the information received from IRCTC, the travel package of this special train will be of 9 nights and 10 days. In this special travel package of IRCTC, a tour of Ahmedabad, Modhera, Patan, Statue of Unity (Kevadia), Pune, Bhimashankar Jyotirling, Aurangabad, Ellora, Ghrishneshwar Jyotirling, Ajanta, Orchha and Jhansi will be organized.

What will be the route of this special train?
The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train running under IRCTC's 'Swarnim Bharat Yatra' will promote special places related to the country's freedom struggle. The first destination of this train is Ahmedabad, which is a city inseparably associated with Mahatma Gandhi and the freedom movement. Here you will get a chance to visit Sabarmati Ashram, 15th century Indian stepwell, Adalaj and Sabarmati Riverfront etc.
After this, there will be a one-day trip to Modhera and Patan, where the first Sun Temple is older than Konark. At the same time, you can also enjoy Rani Ki Bawdi, which is a UNESCO heritage site, at another place. The next destination of this journey is Kevadia located on the banks of the Narmada River in Gujarat, which is known for the Statue of Unity, the world's tallest statue dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Apart from the light and sound show held every evening here, you can also see the Sardar Sarovar Dam.
After this, the train will reach Pune, which has been an integral part of India's freedom struggle. Here Aga Khan Palace is also a witness to the freedom movement, where Mahatma Gandhi, Kasturba Gandhi and Sarojini Naidu were kept captive during the Quit India Movement of 1942. Apart from this, you will also get a chance to see Kasba Ganpati, Shivaji Maharaj's childhood home and Shaniwarwada. After Pune, you will also be taken on a tour of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jhansi and Orchha.
How much will be the train fare?
IRCTC has fixed the fare for this tourist train according to different classes. The fare for First Class AC (Coupe) is Rs 1,01,430 per person, while the fare for First Class AC (Cabin) has been kept at Rs 94,845. You will have to pay Rs 81,675 for Second AC and Rs 71,585 for Third AC.
