iPhone Tips: Activate the Voice Isolation feature in iPhone, clear voice will be heard even in noisy places...
Apple has released the new iOS 16.4 update for all supported iPhones. It has introduced many interesting features like a new emoji, an improved crash detection feature, a weather app update with voice-over support, push notifications for Safari, podcast interface update.
Among these, there's one really useful feature for your iPhone calls that will let you make super-clear phone calls even in crowded places. To use this feature, you must first update your phone. Let us now quickly tell you how to activate it.
What is Apple's voice isolation feature?
You can now use the voice isolation feature on your iPhone for cellular calls. Before using it, you need to update your iPhone to iOS 16.4 version. Previously, Apple limited the use of the voice isolation feature to VoIP calls made through apps such as FaceTime and WhatsApp.
It works just like the active noise cancellation that you can find in some earbuds. Activating the voice isolation feature on the iPhone causes the device's microphone to filter out any background noise around the speaker, preventing it from being transmitted to the other side of the call.
Activate voice isolation feature on iPhone like this
Step 1: First of all open the iPhone app and then call any person.
Step 2: When you are on a call, simply pull down the Control Center from the top-right corner of the iPhone screen.
Step 3: There, tap on the Mic Mode button.
Step 4: This will open the mic mode setting, where you will get the option of voice isolation. Tap on it and activate Voice Isolation.
Step 5: Similarly, you can choose 'Wide Spectrum' if you want the voice and all the sounds around you to be heard.
