Infosys Dividend Announcement: If you hold shares of Infosys, there is good news for you. The IT giant is set to distribute profits to its investors. Infosys has announced an interim dividend of ₹26 per share for its shareholders. A record date has been fixed for this, and the company has also indicated when the dividend payout will be made.

Who is eligible for the dividend? Note the date
Following an increase in profit and revenue for the second quarter of the 2026-27 financial year, the Infosys board has approved an interim dividend of ₹26 per share for shareholders—an increase of 13% compared to the previous year. The company has set November 3, 2026, as the record date; this date will be used to identify shareholders eligible to receive the dividend.

The dividend payout is scheduled for November 11, 2026. This presents a significant opportunity for investors holding Infosys shares to earn through dividends.

Profit stood at ₹7,823 crore in the second quarter
For the second quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (July to September), Infosys reported a consolidated net profit of ₹7,823 crore. In the same period last year, the company’s profit was ₹7,364 crore, marking a 6.2% year-on-year increase.

However, the profit remained relatively stable compared to the ₹7,769 crore recorded in the previous quarter.

Increase in company revenue
Infosys’s revenue from operations for the second quarter stood at ₹49,244 crore, compared to ₹44,490 crore in the same period last year—an increase of approximately 11% on a year-on-year basis. Meanwhile, the company’s revenue saw a 2.14% quarter-on-quarter increase, compared to ₹48,490 crore in the first quarter.

According to the company, this growth was supported by increased demand from clients in the energy and utility sector, as well as higher spending by companies on artificial intelligence (AI) services.

Growth forecast for FY27 lowered
Along with its second-quarter results, Infosys has also lowered its revenue growth forecast for the 2026-27 financial year. The company now projects growth of 1% to 2% in constant currency terms; the previous forecast was 1.5% to 3%. At the same time, the company has maintained its operating margin guidance at 20% to 22%.
