Indian Railways has officially launched its much-awaited 'SwaRail' super app. It will offer passengers a one-stop solution for multiple railway services. Developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), the beta version of the app is now available for download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
What is SwaRail Super App?
'SwaRail' integrates different services of the railways into a single platform, making travel management seamless for passengers. Existing users can log in using their RailConnect and UTSonMobile credentials. This will allow users to access multiple services through a unified account.
This super app developed by CRIS integrates all the public-facing applications of Indian Railways into a single platform. The app caters to a variety of user needs, including:
Reserved ticket bookings
Unreserved ticket and platform ticket bookings
Parcel and freight inquiries
Train and PNR status inquiries
Food orders on trains
Rail Madad for complaint management
Official announcement on social media
Announcing the launch of the app on social media, CRIS said, "Dear Customers, your wait is over! Indian Railways has introduced its super app under beta testing. This app works as a one-stop solution for various railway services."
