Indian Railways has launched a super app to increase the convenience of its passengers. In this, the benefits of different services of the railways will be available on a single platform. It will also be easy to use.
The Railway Ministry has released a new super app for rail passengers. It has been named SwaRail. In this, users are going to get many facilities in one place. It has been made available on Google Play Store for testing. Initially, only 1,000 people will be able to download it. After this, based on the feedback received, it will be made available to 10,000 people. It will be launched after necessary improvements, after which everyone will be able to download it.

Railway Board member Dilip Kumar said that this app has been brought to improve the user experience through a seamless and clear user interface. In this, all the facilities will be available in one place. It will be available on Google Play and Apple App Store from January 31 for beta testing.
These features will be available in the super app.
Users will be able to access all the facilities with a single sign-in in this app. This means that users will not have to sign in again and again to enjoy all the facilities of Indian Railways. Currently, separate apps are required for reserved and unreserved booking, while through Swarel, these tasks will be done from a single app. For this, users will not need to sign up separately. Users will be able to sign in with the credentials of RailConnect and UTS app only.
It will be easy to use
This app, developed by the Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), will provide services like all types of ticket booking, parcel and freight inquiry, train and PNR status inquiry, food ordering, rail help for complaints. It has been designed for the convenience of the users. Once signed in, users will be able to access it through biometrics as well.
