Taking another big step in this direction, the Railway Minister has announced a round-trip package. Under this, if a person books both the tickets for coming and going together, then he will be given a discount of 20 percent. This scheme has been named 'Round Trip Package for Festival Rush'.

People working in different cities go back to their homes during festivals. Due to which a huge crowd of passengers is seen at the stations at this time. Many times during this time, passengers have to travel thousands of kilometers standing in the train. In such a situation, this step was taken for the convenience of the passenger. Its main objective is to provide tickets to the passengers at a low cost during the festive season and to divide the heavy crowd of passengers on different days, so that the journey can be comfortable and convenient.

Who will get the benefit of this scheme?

Every passenger traveling by train who will book the ticket for coming and going together will get the benefit of this scheme. Passengers will have to book tickets for coming and going in the same name by giving their details. The class and station of both these tickets should be of the same pair (O-D Pair).

According to a report by news channel TV9 Bharatvarsh, the ticket for the journey should be for the journey between 13 October to 26 October 2025. Return ticket: Should be for the journey between 17 November to 1 December 2025.
