According to the notification issued by IOCL, this recruitment will be conducted in several states and union territories of Western India. This includes 179 posts in Maharashtra, 69 posts in Gujarat, 69 posts in Madhya Pradesh, 22 posts in Goa, 22 posts in Chhattisgarh, 22 posts in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and 22 posts in Daman and Diu. Through these positions, candidates will get the opportunity to learn and build a strong foundation for their future at a large government institution like Indian Oil.

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualification

The educational qualifications for different apprentice positions are also different. For Technician Apprentice, an engineering diploma in the relevant branch from a recognized institution; for Trade Apprentice, an ITI certificate in the relevant trade; and for Graduate Apprentice, a graduation degree in any subject. Candidates must possess all the necessary certificates. The qualifications must be from a recognized board, university, or institution. The minimum age for this recruitment is 18 years, and the maximum age is 24 years. The age will be calculated as of December 31, 2025.  Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
