social media

The process of filing income tax returns (ITR filing) has now started. Now the Income Tax Department has brought a great feature on the Income Tax Portal for the income taxpayers. With the help of this feature, in a single click, the income taxpayer will get all the notices sent by the Income Tax Department in one place. With this, notices can be tracked easily. This feature has been added in the new e-proceeding section. In such a situation, users will be able to track all pending tax proceedings as soon as they click on the new tab. A search option is also given in it so that the taxpayer can easily search any particular notice.

The Income Tax Department says that this new facility introduced on the portal will reduce the compliance burden on the taxpayer. There will be no need to go to the Income Tax Department office for every work. Not only this, with this new feature it will become easier for taxpayers to keep an eye on various other communications sent by the department including income tax notices.
