In Delhi, you can book your favorite liquor through a mobile app and get this much time for pickup.
Delhi Online Liquor Buying: The way liquor is bought in Delhi is about to change. A new system involving booking and pickup through a mobile app is being prepared, which could provide significant relief to customers.
Delhi Online Liquor Buying: Liquor consumption in the country is no secret, and the national capital, Delhi, is no exception. A large number of people in Delhi consume alcohol. However, it often happens that people have to wander from one shop to another to buy their favorite brand of liquor. Sometimes they have to travel quite far, and even then, they don't find the desired liquor.
This problem is especially exacerbated during weekends or festivals. Now, the way Delhi residents buy liquor is about to change. A system is soon going to be launched in the capital that will eliminate the need to visit multiple shops to buy liquor. Through a mobile app, people will be able to find out from the comfort of their homes which shop has which brand available and how much stock is left. Read on for complete details.
Complete information is available through the mobile app
To make liquor purchases easier in the capital, the Delhi Excise Department has developed a new mobile app called E-Excise Delhi. Through this app, consumers will be able to find out on their mobile phones which shop has their favorite brand of liquor available.
It will also show how much stock of that brand is left at the respective shop and the location of the shop. This means there will be no need to wander around looking for a particular brand. The aim of the app is to provide accurate information to consumers. This will save time and prevent people from having to travel long distances unnecessarily.
This much time will be given for pickup
Under the E-Excise Delhi app, rules are also being considered regarding a pre-booking system. The department has not yet decided whether any charge will be levied on customers for pre-booking. It is also proposed that liquor shop owners will give customers up to one hour to pick up their pre-booked orders.
The customer will have to reach the shop and collect the order within this stipulated time. If the customer doesn't arrive within an hour, the shopkeeper can sell the brand to another customer. This will simplify stock management and reduce crowding at the shops.
App in Trial Mode
According to excise department officials, the app is currently in trial mode, but it will be officially launched soon. Officials said that the department was receiving continuous complaints that many brands were not available at the shops, and it was difficult to find out which shops stocked them.
Complaints can also be filed
In addition, there were also complaints about adulterated liquor and overcharging. The new e-excise app will help address all these problems. The app will provide information about the authenticity of the liquor and will also have an option to register any kind of complaint. The good news is that even during the trial period, the app is available on the Play Store, and people can download and use it.
