Important Rules- These rules are going to change from June 1, be careful, let's know about them

We know very well that life changes are very important and these changes often bring benefits and facilities, if we talk about some government rules, then with the end of May and the beginning of June, many rules are going to change, these changes are going to affect various aspects of daily life, including costs and rules that can directly affect your finances. Let's know about these rules-

1. LPG prices

Oil marketing companies change the prices of LPG cylinders on the first of every month. New prices will be announced at 6 am on June 1, 2024. Recently, the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders have seen significant fluctuations, while the prices of 14 kg domestic gas cylinders have remained stable.

2. ATF and CNG-PNG rates

Apart from LPG, oil marketing companies also revise the prices of aviation fuel (ATF) and CNG-PNG on the first of every month. The new rates will be announced on June 1. Notably, ATF prices were reduced in April, and the upcoming adjustment will be keenly watched.

3. SBI Credit Card Rules

From June 1, 2024, there will be significant changes in SBI credit card rules. Reward points on government-related transactions will no longer apply to certain credit cards. This change affects several cards including SBI's AURUM, SBI Card ELITE, SBI Card ELITE Advantage, SBI Card Pulse, SimplyClick SBI Card, SimplyClick Advantage SBI Card, and SBI Card PRIME.

4. Driving Licence Test Procedure

From June 1, 2024, driving license tests will be available in private driving schools, apart from government centers. However, these private institutes must be recognized by the RTO. Additionally, stricter penalties have been introduced for driving by minors: a fine of Rs 25,000 and a 25-year ban on obtaining a license.

5. Deadline for free update of Aadhaar card

UIDAI has extended the deadline for a free update of the Aadhaar card to June 14, 2024. After this date, a fee of Rs 50 will be charged per update at Aadhaar centers. Cardholders are encouraged to avail of the remaining free update period.
