There are many such questions in the visa application form that assess everything from the intention of your journey to your character. Here, we will tell you one by one.

If you too have a dream in your heart to walk on the beautiful streets of Britain, study in the streets of Oxford or pass under the London Bridge, then wait. Some solid preparation is necessary before making that dream come true. As easy as it seems to get a UK visa, in reality it has to go through the test of documentation and trust. The first thing that is checked is your financial status i.e. how much balance is there in your bank account. Also, there are many such questions in the visa application form which assess everything from the intention of your journey to your character. Here we are going to tell you one by one.

How much should be the bank balance to go to Britain

Under the visa process to go to Britain, it is first seen whether the applicant has enough money to maintain himself there or not. Bank balance is an important factor in UK visa. If you are taking a tourist visa (Standard Visitor Visa), then there is no fixed amount in it but you have to prove that you can bear the cost of the entire trip including ticket, hotel, food and return. Showing a balance of Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh for a trip of 7 to 10 days is considered safe.

Rules become more strict for students

If you are taking a student visa (Tier 4 / Student Route), then the rules become more strict. Students studying in London have to show 1,334 pounds every month i.e. a total of 12,006 pounds i.e. about 12 lakh rupees in their account as the cost of living for 9 months. For students studying outside London, this figure is 9,207 pounds i.e. about 9 lakh rupees at the rate of 1,023 pounds per month. This money should be in the account continuously for at least 28 days. It should be clearly visible in the bank statement.

These conditions have to be fulfilled for work visa also

If you are applying for a work visa i.e. Skilled Worker Visa, then the UK government asks you to show a balance of at least 1,270 pounds i.e. about 1.3 lakh rupees. The purpose of this amount is to see that you can stay in Britain without any problem for the first few weeks. This amount should also remain stable in your account for 28 days.

These questions are asked in visa application!

In the visa application, you have to answer many personal and professional questions. Such as your name, date of birth, passport number, marital status, purpose of travel, where will you stay, what are the dates of travel. Apart from this, questions like what is your income, whether you are employed or not, who is bearing the expenses, whether any visa has been rejected in your travel history or not and whether there is any criminal case against you or not are asked.
