According to the report, the youth of the country are giving more priority to purpose-driven employment options, which include work-life balance, equal treatment of all employees, good salary and other facilities.

According to the survey, Tata Group has performed very well not only in terms of financial health, but also in terms of career growth opportunities and brand identity. This year, Google India climbed up the ranking to second place, while Infosys was at third place.

The country's top-10 employer brands for the year 2025 include Samsung India (fourth place), JP Morgan Chase (fifth place), IBM (sixth place), Wipro (seventh place), Reliance Industries (eighth place), Dell Technologies Limited (ninth place) and State Bank of India (tenth place).

Just a good salary is not enough

SBI is the only public sector bank in the list of top-10 employer brands. To prepare this report, more than 1,70,000 people in 34 markets were asked for their opinion, including more than 3,500 respondents from India. This shows that for today's youth, not only a good salary matters, but they have many more expectations than this. They are giving priority to such places to work, where there is both personal and professional growth.

AI is being used more

According to the report, 47 percent of the youth planned to switch jobs in the first half of 2025. In this, both Generation Z (51 percent) and Millennials (50 percent) expressed their desire to change the employer. Apart from this, with the speed at which the use of AI is increasing, people have started using it more and more.

61 percent of employees in India have now started using it. Millennials are its most active users, whose number has increased by 13 percent compared to last year. 38 percent of employees believe that AI has a profound impact on their work.
